Of the "5 Of The Best Stocks With Dividend Growth......," my choice would be GSK and HON. I maintain two accounts, not including MMA and cash.
ReplyDeleteOne account is made up of mostly of Blue Chips, which at my cost basis yields me right at 5.4%. My other account is somewhat speculative. At the moment I am mostly invested in MLP, REITs and CEFs. All of the stocks in this account are rate sensitive, so I keep an close eye on what the Feds are doing, as well as the housing market and CPI. I believe the interest rates will be increasing before the second half of 2013. Of course, that somewhat depends on the outcome of next weeks elections. My spec account is yielding right at 11.1%. The income from this account goes into the Blue Chip account that is used to purchase additional shares of whichever stock I need to keep the account balanced. There is a total of 76 securities in the two account. I obviously spend more time on the spec account. When I purchase a stock with "growing dividends," I found it important to look at how long the dividends have been increasing. I look for 10 years of dividend increases. Sorry I couldn't go into more details right now, traveling.
