10 Stocks And 2 Funds Hiked Their Dividends Last Week

Stocks with dividend hikes from last week originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. The number of dividend hikers remains low. Only 10 stocks and two additional funds announced to increase their dividend payments last week.

On the list are some well known big players like Conoco Philips, Walgreen, Paychex or Cummins. It’s ever good to see that some stocks keep their dividend growth path. Seven of the results have a current buy or better rating.

The firm’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounts to $22.309 billion. The EBITDA margin is 35.98 percent (the operating margin is 24.87 percent and the net profit margin 12.07 percent).


Financial Analysis: The total debt represents 18.55 percent of the company’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 45.27 percent. Due to the financial situation, a return on equity of 13.09 percent was realized. Twelve trailing months earnings per share reached a value of $5.86. Last fiscal year, the company paid $2.64 in the form of dividends to shareholders. COP announced a dividend hike of 4.5 percent last week.


Market Valuation: Here are the price ratios of the company: The P/E ratio is 11.06, the P/S ratio is 1.28 and the P/B ratio is finally 1.65. The dividend yield amounts to 4.26 percent and the beta ratio has a value of 1.15.

The EBITDA margin is 6.52 percent (the operating margin is 4.84 percent and the net profit margin 2.97 percent).
