Dividend Growth Stock Compilation Of The Past Week

Readers of this space know that the primary focus of my dividend portfolio is to create ever-increasing income money machine by investing in dividend growth securities.

A slew of mixed earnings reports were released over the past week. Investor sentiment remains particularly fragile with uncertainty related to the U.S. Presidential election and the future trajectory of interest rates and global monetary stimulus.

These factors were enough to nudge the S&P 500 Index slightly lower on the week, even despite dozens of dividend stocks increasing their dividend payouts or just their payments to shareholders.

As a savvy investor, I always make a note of companies that recently raised their dividends. I do this for two reasons:

- First, I like to stay as informed as possible.

- Second, a dividend hike may introduce me to a company that I’ve never heard of or researched before, giving me the opportunity to learn about the company, dig deeper into its financials, and maybe even become a shareholder.

With all of this in mind, let’s take a look at 40 big companies that have raised their dividends during the past week.

Here is the compilaton of the 40 latest dividend raiser...

17 Dividend Challengers With A Strong Buy Rating

Today I would like to take a look at the recommendations from brokerage firms or analysts.

I analyzed the Dividend Challengers group (stocks with more than 5 years of consecutive dividend growth) by the current recommendations.

Seventeen of the stocks have a current strong buy rating. Attached you will find a full list with some fundamentals.

It's a little bit easier to join the club of Dividend Challengers than to be a Dividend King, Champion, Aristocrat or Contender.

Here are my favorites from the screen...

Ex-Dividend Stocks: Best Dividend Paying Shares On May 22, 2013

The best yielding and biggest ex-dividend stocks researched by ”long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. Dividend Investors should have a quiet overview of stocks with upcoming ex dividend dates.

The ex dividend date is the final date on which the new stock buyer couldn’t receive the next dividend. If you like to receive the dividend, you need to buy the stock before the ex dividend date. I made a little screen of the best yielding stocks with a higher capitalization that have their ex date on the next trading day.

A full list of all stocks with payment dates can be found here: Ex-Dividend Stocks May 22, 2013. In total, 27 stocks and preferred shares go ex dividend - of which 7 yield more than 3 percent. The average yield amounts to 3.38%.

Here is the sheet of the best yielding, higher capitalized ex-dividend stocks:

13 Highest Dividend Paying Grocery Stores

High dividend paying grocery store stocks originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". A very interesting investment field is to buy chains. Every company has a chain but I don’t talk about the relationship structures of a company when they buy commodities, manufacture products and sell them in the end to customers. I talk about store systems like McDonalds or Wal-Mart. For sure, these are two very successful chains with strong brands and lot’s of value. Normally a smaller chain has no big values.

To buy a store system is a way to make fast money because a profitable concept can be copied all over the world in a very short time. All you need is the right location to expand your selling space. Think about Starbucks and how they work. The critical point is if your business concept will be accepted by different cultures and if your customers are loyal to your products when competition rises. All will be measured in the ratio “Same Store Sales”. That’s a figure which counts the percentage sales increase of older stores space (because a new opened store has higher sales in the first six month).

Today I like to look at the grocery stores industry. The average dividend yield of grocery stores is 1.46% and the P/E ratio is around 35. Linked is a small list of the highest dividend paying grocery store concepts which you can buy at the market.

13 grocery stores pay dividends of which one is a High-Yield. Six of the results are recommended to buy.

100 Stocks At All-Time-Highs | 58 Dividend Stocks At New Highs

People love it to watch stocks that are going up and never stop to rise. In my blog “long-term-investments.blogspot.com” I present on a regular basis some interesting stocks at new 52-Week Highs or even better, stocks at All-Time Highs. Recently, 100 companies realized price marks they have never seen before. 58 of them pay dividends.

All-Time Highs are very good signals showing the strong investor confidence and they are indicating a well-running business as well.

If I look the huge number of stocks at All-Time Highs I can’t believe that it is really true. Remember the world economy is still in a recession and growth is weaker than predicted but the financial markets do not care about it. Stocks rally and we are close to All-Time Highs in some of the world’s most important indices. The main question for me is: Is this rally sustainable and correct or do you believe that this is a small bubble which becomes bigger and bigger. Let me know and we will discuss it in the comment area.

Below is a small list of the 20 most recommended dividend stocks which realized a new All-Time High within the recent trading days. Two high-yields are part of the results.
