6 Monthly Dividend Paying High-Yields To Consider

High-Yield stocks with monthly dividend payments originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". I love it to receive dividends and everyone should love it too. Payments by my stock holdings are the main cash source for further investments and a great passive income for your daily consumptions.

Generally a company pays 4 times a year a quarter dividend but there are also some stocks (over 300) that pay dividends on a monthly basis. I don’t know why they do this but they do it. Maybe some people feel richer when they get more dividend checks over the year. I personally don't care about the payment periods of the company. I only look at the total annulized yield and I often try to buy the stock before the ex-dividend date in order to receive the next dividend very quick.

Recently I screened some interesting high yielding real estate investment trusts with monthly payments. Now I like to focus on monthly dividend paying stocks from the business development industry. Below is a small list of 6 High-Yield stocks of which two are recommended to buy.

High Yield Stocks With Ex-Dividend Date June 2012

Monthly High Yield Shares By Ex-Dividend Dates. High yield investing is popular especially just before the next dividend payout. In order to receive the next dividend, investors must take a look at the ex-dividend date. If you own a share or fund before this day, you will receive the next dividend. I screened interesting high yield stocks going ex-dividend within the next month – June 2012. As result, we found 85 stocks with an average dividend yield of 6.52 percent.

Ex-Dividend Date Reminder For January 27, 2012

Here is a current overview of best yielding stocks that have their ex-dividend date on the next trading day. If your broker settles your trade today, you will receive the next dividend. A full list of all stocks with ex-dividend date can be found here: Ex-Dividend Stocks On January 27, 2012. In total, 33 stocks and preferred shares go ex-dividend of which 21 yielding above 3 percent. The average yield amounts to 5.35 percent.

The ex-dividend date is a major date related to the payment of dividends. If you purchase a stock on its ex-dividend date or later, you will not receive the next dividend payment. Instead, the seller gets the dividend. If you purchase before the ex-dividend date, you get the dividend. It is important that your broker settle your trade before the ex-dividend date.
