These Are The 20 Best Performing Dividend Stocks Of The Year 2015 - Can They Repeat Their Success in 2016?

When investing in dividend stocks, the primary goal isn't necessarily to make a boatload of money right away.

Rather, most of us invest in dividend stocks for a stable, growing income stream that will build wealth over time. Still, dividend stocks do experience some big moves from time to time.

Today I like to give you an overview of the best performing dividend stocks of the year. The Dow Jones is negative year-to-date. It was a really hard year. Only seven stocks gained more than 100%. Around 40 companies had a performance over 50%.

You will see that high yields are not performance drivers.

Attached you can find the 20 best performing dividend paying stocks of the year. I've only selected those companies with a market cap over 300 million. The performance of the 20 top stocks starts at 60.19% and ends at 290.47%.

Ex-Dividend Stocks: Best Dividend Paying Shares On February 28, 2013

The best yielding and biggest ex-dividend stocks researched by ”long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. Dividend Investors should have a quiet overview of stocks with upcoming ex dividend dates.

The ex dividend date is the final date on which the new stock buyer couldn’t receive the next dividend. If you like to receive the dividend, you need to buy the stock before the ex dividend date. I made a little screen of the best yielding stocks with a higher capitalization that have their ex date on the next trading day.

A full list of all stocks with payment dates can be found here: Ex-Dividend Stocks February 28, 2013. In total, 9 stocks and preferred shares go ex dividend - of which 3 yield more than 3 percent. The average yield amounts to 2.56%.

The Best Dividend Stocks from the Business Service Industry To Buy Now

The Best Yielding Shares from the Business Services Sector Originally At “long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. An interesting industry is in my view the business services industry. Nearly 100 companies are related to the sector of which only 30 pay dividends to its shareholders. The total capitalization of the sector amounts to $7.25 trillion. The average dividend yield within the industry amounts to 25.4 and the yield reach 1.1 percent.

I like the industry because of the high profit margins, which corresponds at 10.20 percent and is one of the highest values in the sector. The most known stocks are Visa (V), MasterCard (MA) and Moody’s (MCO). Business service is often financial networked.

I made a screen of the best yielding stocks within the business services industry. In order to reduce the huge amount of 30 dividend paying business service stocks, I selected only those with double-digit earnings per share growth. As a result, sixteen stocks remain of which market analysts trust in eleven companies and recommend them to buy now.
